In 2014, I published a book ... (well more of a booklet because it was short) titled Confessions of a Modern Pastor. In it, I detailed a few ways in which I, as a pastor of an evangelical church, had been complicit in choosing those with money over those in need, manipulated services to get more converts, and contributed to the idea that Heaven and more specifically God's love was for the few, not the many.
Believe it or not you can still get this book on Amazon and it even a 4.4 star reviews. Of course its only from 4 readers and one of them wrote a scathing review and probably wishes they could have left no stars. LOL!
I thought it could be fun to revisit those confessions, see if they still hold up and if I have anymore confessions to make.
Let's be honest, I probably do!
